Refund Policy
Last updated: 5 May 2026
Our Commitment
We want you to be confident purchasing LocalMail.dev. If the Software does not work for you, we will refund you in full, no questions asked, within 14 days of purchase.
Statutory Cancellation Right
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you ordinarily have a 14-day statutory right to cancel a digital content purchase. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that the statutory right of cancellation is waived once the download begins, in accordance with Regulation 37.
Regardless of this, we voluntarily provide the commercial refund policy described below, which gives you equivalent protection.
14-Day Commercial Refund
You are entitled to a full refund of your purchase price (in the original currency charged by Stripe, USD) within 14 days of the date of purchase. To request a refund:
- Email [email protected] from the email address you used to purchase.
- Include your order number or the email address associated with your purchase.
- We will process your refund within 5 business days.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method in USD. Processing time after we issue the refund depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5 to 10 business days). Exchange rate differences, if any, are outside our control.
After 14 Days
After the 14-day window, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. We are more likely to approve a late refund where the Software has a material defect we are unable to resolve, or where exceptional circumstances apply. Email [email protected] and explain the situation. We will respond within 5 business days.
Update Renewals
The optional $12 USD per year update renewal is refundable within 14 days of the renewal payment date, subject to the same conditions above.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to decline a refund where we reasonably believe the request is fraudulent, where a chargeback has already been initiated, or where the licence has been transferred or shared in violation of our Terms of Service.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If the Software is faulty or does not match its description, you may have additional rights beyond those described here. EU and international consumers retain the protections afforded by their local mandatory consumer law.
